Achilles at the TCS NYC Marathon

In 1976, our founder Dick Traum became the first amputee to complete the New York City Marathon. Now, Achilles is known worldwide for bringing the largest field of athletes with disabilities to the TCS NYC Marathon each November. Learn more about Achilles participation in marathon weekend.
