
Achilles Superhero Training Camp
The Achilles NYC Chapter and Team Achilles Kids are training together virtually all August long as part of the Achilles Superhero Training Camp. The challenge will culminate with a special celebration, the Superhero Grand Finale on Saturday, August 27 at 9:30 AM. To help keep track of every minute of movement, you can download this daily chart and fill it in each day.
HOW SUPERHERO TRAINING CAMP WORKS:
From August 1 through August 27, track your minutes of movement every day. All movement counts. Running, walking, wheeling, exercising, and even dancing! Use our weekly minute tracker here
Enter your name, email, and how many minutes you exercised by Fridays, 6:00 PM ET each week. Our goal is 5,000 minutes across Achilles NYC and TAK for the month of August!
Each week we will have a special challenge for participants to complete as they exercise. A special Achilles Hammer (our minute tracker) will be updated weekly to track all the activity. At the end of each week, we will share the minutes as they fill the Achilles' Hammer with a new challenge for the next week!
Week One Challenge: Run with a new friend…or as many new friends as you can. Be sure to take a picture and tag Achilles International and Achilles NYC on social media!
Saturday, August 27th at 9:30 AM is the SUPERHERO GRAND FINALE: when TAK & Achilles NYC will run side-by-side for a super-fun, superhero themed workout! Capes or other superhero attire are not required but strongly recommended.
