Margaret joined Achilles in 2021 for the return of its in-person Hope & Possibility 4-Miler in the wake of the pandemic. The annual race is where Margaret first connected to Achilles’ mission as a frequent volunteer at medal distribution each summer. An avid runner, Margaret believes the magic of a marathon should be accessible to all. Margaret has worked in the PR, communications and marketing field for over a decade. She previously worked at FINN Partners where she led the execution of integrated CSR and social impact media campaigns for major consumer brands and nonprofits. Her work on the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind’s ADA Compliance Meter report of the 2020 presidential candidates’ websites was recognized with a PR Week award and resulted in several campaigns making their websites more accessible. Margaret has also worked at the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and as a news and sports reporter. She graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s in Journalism and obtained her master’s in PR and Communications from New York University.
