Program Manager, Achilles Kids

Lindsey joined Achilles Kids in 2018 as a volunteer and has been with Achilles ever since! She often laughs at how she used to hate running until she participated in her first indoor fun run led by Janet Patton. She had so much fun with the kids, that she began training to run and within two weeks, was running with Team Achilles Kids in their Central Park workouts! Lindsey is earning her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University's Vagelos School of Physicians and Surgeons. Being an adult woman with ADHD and a disabling autoimmune condition, Lindsey has found community, support, inspiration, and friendship through Achilles–her second family–and ran her first half marathon in support of Achilles Kids in December 2021. She is incredibly excited to be a bigger part of the program that is so near and dear to her heart, which inspired her to pursue her professional career in Occupational Therapy. If you have questions about joining the Achilles Kids program, please contact Lindsey.
